The following areas shall be explored during conducting this online (real time connectivity) short course:

  • Undertake activities to establish a project
  • Undertake project planning and design processes
  • Undertake to monitor and control project life cycle
  • Review project and conduct close out activities

Duration

12 hours real time connectivity on MS Teams (4 hours slot per day)

Delivery Location

Real time connectivity 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (flexible) as per ACST and ACDT, UTC/GMT+10:30 HOURS

Additional Information

Students will require access to Microsoft Windows to complete this course. This course has either written or oral supervised assessment. Students will require access to video chat for assessment purposes.

This course will impart an insight into project governance models and structures, identifying project initiation documentation, identifying stakeholders for authority on the project, establishing client requirements and needs, identifying organizational strategies and goals and how this relates to the project, documenting project objectives, outcomes, and benefits, and finally the preparation and submission of the project charter for approval.
